On Tuesday, 25 September 2012, Peter Harrington unveiled Lord Byron’s copy of Frankenstein inscribed by Mary Shelley during an evening featuring a talk by Shelley’s biographer Miranda Seymour, an introduction by Adam Douglas (Senior Specialist in early Literature) and a talk on its discovery by Sammy Jay as well as a reading of Mary Shelley’s preface to the third edition by actress Serena Gordon.
